Prior to creating Aspect Design Landscape, Heather got her Master of Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley and has worked for a number of landscape architects in the bay area. Her past work experiences includes high-end residential designs, children's play environments, campus redevelopment plans, a waterfront park master plan in South Lake Tahoe, trails master plans, urban housing developments and various public parks projects. She has also been strongly influenced by her extensive travels throughout Europe and Asia studying reclaimed land and cultural landscapes. After becoming a mother, Heather was inspired to start her own design studio in which she could focus on the creation of outdoor spaces for people to gather, cultivate & celebrate within. She believes it is integral to the design process to incorporate existing cultural elements and natural processes into all her designs to capture the spirit of each place. Heather strives to keep her designs from being anything but ordinary, while giving each project its own unique character.
